Tours
The House is open for guests to tour at their leisure during any public event. Specially arranged, guided tours are available upon request from April through December, but please allow 45-90 minutes to enjoy commentary on both the family and architectural features. Small as well as large bus tours, student groups, or families who want to introduce their children to the story of West Virginia's creation are always welcome.
Throughout the summer of 2024, McGrew House will also be open from 9-11 every Saturday morning during the Farmers Market, and on the third Sunday of each month, in conjunction with other historical sites in Preston County, WV, McGrew House will welcome guests from 1-3 pm on June 16, July 21, August 18, September 15, and October 20.

Rentals
House and grounds are available from April through December for meetings, dinners, showers, receptions, birthday gatherings, reunions, and small weddings. Fees are $75 for the first two hours and $10 for each hour thereafter. A $35 security deposit is required at the signing of the rental contract, but that sum will be returned after the event if the House is left in good condition. Although catering services are not provided as part of the rental contract, a list of local caterers is available upon request.
For non-profit and business groups, a meeting-only option exists--$50 for first two hours and includes use of the Dining Room, Conservatory, and Kitchen.
